The first quarter of the NFL has come to a closed and who the hell would have thought the LA Rams would be 3-1 and the Panthers would have been 1-3. Besides records, there has been a even more troubling trend that has occurred in NY and Dallas. The Cowboys and Giants are dealing with the reincarnation of The Diva Receiver. Dez Bryant and Odell Beckham have had a rough week to say the least.
Reports have come out of Dallas stating that Dez Bryant has missed around 40 meetings over the last couple of years. Coupled with missing meetings, Dez didn’t suit up against the 49ers this past Sunday due to lingering injuries. Cowboys went on to win the game with rookie stud Dak Prescott and a great performance from the NFL leading rusher Ezekiel Elliott. Questions have begun to rise in Dallas about the value of Dez Bryant. Can Dallas win big without the big 88?
The same flaming question has begun to ignite in NYC when it comes to Odell Beckham. The Giants are not playing a great brand of football and last night in Minnesota the Vikings dominated the G Men on every side of the football. Odell has not looked like his old dominate Odell we were use to seeing during his first two years in the NFL.
Odell Beckham and Dez Bryant are great players, but their actions have allowed Julio Jones and Antonio Brown to stand alone as the two best receivers in the game.
